BAGGU’s two cubes have broad zipped openings that suit a clothing group you want to see at once. Sea to Summit’s 5-liter bag has one main space and a roll closure. REI’s three-pouch set offers three closure types for small-item separation. Its published dimensions are unusually small, so confirm them rather than treating a product photograph as a scale drawing.
Organization is not protection
The BAGGU cubes are not verified dry bags. REI’s water-repellent pouches are not established as odor-proof or wildlife-resistant containers. Sea to Summit’s listing describes taped seams and states that prolonged submersion is outside intended use. Follow the maker’s closure instructions and the destination’s food-storage requirements; none of these bags is a substitute for a required wildlife-resistant container.
Avoid a bag inside every bag
Start with a few functional groups, such as clean clothing and small personal items. Reuse an organizer you already own when it does the job. Extra bags add cost, weight and another opening to undo. The set price should be compared with the number of pieces you will actually use, including shipping and current return conditions. We have not tested abrasion resistance, waterproofing or filled capacity.
