A pouch can make a handbag easier to use until it takes over the space meant for keys, a wallet and a phone. Start with the items you actually reach for outside the house. A lip product, a small compact and a few short tools need a different shape from a full daily makeup kit.
What to measure
- Measure the narrowest point of the handbag opening.
- Lay out the closed touch-up items and measure their longest dimension.
- Allow room for the filled pouch alongside the things already in your bag.

How to choose
Editorial interpretation of the listed specifications—not hands-on findings.
Three levels of structure
BAGGU’s small Flat Pouch is a slim-format choice, but it comes as part of a three-piece set. CALPAK Tiny has a square zip-around shape and a stated 0.8-liter capacity. BAGGU’s Small Cosmetic Case is the roomier comparison, with a mesh zip pocket and six-inch depth that may suit a tote better than a compact purse.
Do not judge by “small” alone
The names are not standardized size categories. A long pencil can fail to fit a square case even when a shorter, thicker compact fits. Flat-pouch height and width also do not predict how much space the pouch takes once filled. Check the opening and internal measurements when a specific item is close to the listed size.
Keep the purchase proportional
A set of three pouches is useful if you have a role for all three, but the set price should not be mentally compared with a single pouch as if the small one were sold separately. Check the merchant’s current delivered total and return conditions. CALPAK’s selected black Tiny page showed final-sale terms when checked, which makes measuring before purchase especially important.
Choose flat for a few slim items, square for short items, and the larger BAGGU case only when your handbag has room to spare.
